Do you need a VISA?

If you are applying for emigration, visas, work permits or residency in Australia, Canada, New Zealand or the United States of America, you will need a police certificate.

You can apply for a certificate by downloading the application form from the Association for Chief Police Officers (ACPO) website.

Please note this certificate is processed entirely by the ACPO Criminal Records Office (ACRO).

For any other country, you may seek information by way of a subject access application to Lancashire Constabulary.

To submit your application form for a police certificate or if you have any questions about the process, please contact the Criminal Records office on:
