Who is my local police officer?

Every neighbourhood in Lancashire has a neighbourhood policing team and you can find out who's on your team by entering your postcode in the 'My Area' section on the homepage or select from a list here

How do I contact the Press Office?

The Press Office, Corporate Communications, is open for press enquiries Monday - Friday 8.00am - 6.00pm on 01772 412333. This number is for accredited journalists with media inquiries. Please do not call this number with enquiries about speeding tickets or fixed penalty notices

I had my phone taken off me by a Police officer – how to I get it back?

If your phone was taken as evidence and all court proceedings have finished, contact us on 01254 353475  and we will arrange for you to speak to the officer dealing with the case so that it can be returned to you.

If your phone was taken and the investigation has concluded, contact us on 01254 353475  and we will arrange for you to speak to the officer dealing with the case so that he can advise you whether it can be returned to you.

If your phone was taken and the investigation is still underway, you won’t be able to have your phone back – at least not yet.

I am having problems with youths hanging around the street every night and want to speak to a Police Officer about it.

If the problems are happening now, call 101. If problems are ongoing, you can discuss the matter with an officer from your local Neighbourhood Policing team. You can find team details by typing your postcode into the My Area section of our website here. In an emergency, always dial 999.

I am suffering from parking problems in my street. Cars are blocking pavements and driveways.

Your local Neighbourhood Policing Team should be able to assist. You can find their details by typing your postcode into the My Area section of our website here. A car can park outside your address, you are not entitled to that parking space, unless it is an allocated parking bay or disabled parking bay. If a vehicle is causing an obstruction i.e. cars blocking pavements, driveways then ring 101.

I want to complaint about the parking ticket I have been issued with. Who do I contact?

The parking ticket you have been issued with is a civil matter as parking now comes under the control of the Local Authority, so therefore Lancashire Constabulary is unable to assist you with your complaint. How do I make a complaint about the Police?

I need a police certificate for my new job. How can I obtain one?
