Priority 1:

Juvenile nuisance on Barnes Square and Mercer Park at evenings and weekends

Priority 2:

A problem with flat back vehicles driving down back alleyways, taking scrap metal during the day

Bike thefts in Clayton-Le-Moors and Altham

Find out what we have been doing in the last month -

You Said - Address juvenile nuisance on Barnes Square at evenings and weekends
We Did - The Clayton Neighbourhood Policing Team utilised the new ASB car at weekends and conducted high visibility patrols in the area.
As a Result - There were only three reported incidents of anti-social behaviour on Barnes Square.

You Said - Reduce juvenile nuisance in Mercer Park.
We Did - Now a new Anti-Social Behaviour vehicle is now being utilised with two officers who will continually patrol the three main hotspots of Clayton-le-Moors on Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings.
As a Result - There were no reports of anti-social behaviour in the park.

You Said - Address the bike thefts in the area
We Did - PCSO Underwood placed an article in both the Lancashire Telegraph and Accrington Observer regarding securing pedal cycles. The Clayton and Altham Neighbourhood Policing Team have also issued further bike locks to members of the public. PC Pountain has also attended All Saints school regarding educating children regarding securing their bikes.
As a Result - Members of the public are being more safety conscious and are securing bicycles to prevent further thefts. The Neighbourhood Policing team are also targeting known bike thefts where appropriate to ensure they are not in possession of stolen property.

Any other Items of Note

There has been a successful drugs warrant on Pickup Street, Clayton.

There was a joint operation with the Road Policing Unit targetting vehicles used in crime.

Lancashire Constabulary Mounted Division patrolled the streets and visited local criminals.
