Find out what we have been doing in the last month -

Priority 1

You said: Anti Social Behaviour around Wilton Street and the takeaway (formerly The Zone).

We did: The NHP team have made high visibility patrols on several occasions and moved approximately twenty youths away from the area.

As a result: As a result there has been a reduction in the number of calls made to us regarding the problem and we will continue to monitor this issue.

Priority 2
You said: Speeding vehicles through Blacko village.

We did: The Neighbourhood Policing team have carried out Operation Pathway near to Blacko Primary School and monitored the speed of traffic driving through the village using a handheld speed device. No vehicles were found exceeding the 30mph speed limit.

As a result: It is believed that this high profile action has been effective as a deterrent as there have been no further reports of speeding through the village.

Priority 3

You said: Drug use around public buildings in the area near to the junction of Barrowford Road and Cuckstool Lane.

We did: The Neighbourhood Policing team conducted regular evening patrols in this area and stopped and searched certain individuals.

As a result: This action has proved effective as there are now far fewer people in the area and a significant reduction in reported incidents.
