What do you want to happen in your area?

Your local team is all about finding local solutions to local issues and works closely with organisations to make this happen. It runs monthly meetings called Police and Communities Together (PACT) where you can talk about things that are happening in your area that you think need sorting out.

Priority 1:

Anti Social Behaviour on Albany Road and surrounding streets particularly evenings and weekends

Priority 2:

Building site for new Pleckgate School and the adjacent playing fields. Building site is an anti-social behaviour attraction and playing fields for mini motos in the evenings and at weekends.

Priority 3:

Suspected drug dealing at the Rugby Club car park on Ramsgreave Road, Blackburn. Every day and particularly in the evenings from 9pm till 11pm.

Find out what we have been doing in the last month -

YOU SAID: Anti Social Behaviour, Albany Road and surrounding areas.

WE DID: Continued patrols in the area, fixed penalty issued to youth who was causing damage

AS A RESULT: Reduction in calls to police but problem ongoing requiring further intervention.

YOU SAID: Building site for new Pleckgate school and the adjacent playing fields attracting anti-social behaviour

WE DID: Increased patrols in area especially in the evenings and weekends

AS A RESULT: Ongoing priority due to summer holidays and increase of youths around the area


YOU SAID: Anti social behaviour on and around Pleckfarm Ave especially the alleyway between numbers 11 AND 15. Evenings and weekends

WE DID: Increased patrols in the area, especially evenings and weekends

AS A RESULT: Ongoing priority due to summer holidays and increase of youths around the area
