What do you want to happen in your area?

Your local team is all about finding local solutions to local issues and works closely with organisations to make this happen. It runs monthly meetings called Police and Communities Together (PACT) where you can talk about things that are happening in your area that you think need sorting out.

Vehicles causing a nuisance on Leeds Road at the junction with Reedyford Road near to the old swap shop.

Find out what we have been doing in the last month -

Priority 1
You said: Drug activity around the Bankhouse Road / Cliffe Street area.

We did: High visibility patrols by the Neighbourhood Policing team and Neighbourhood Response Officers. Suspects stopped and searched when necessary.

As a result: The action taken has disrupted the activity and there has been a significant decrease in reports.

Priority 2
You said: Vehicle nuisance on the Charles Street estate.

We did: High visibility patrols have been made by the Neighbourhood Policing team, Neighbourhood Response officers and traffic officers. Confiscation warnings under section 59 of the Police Reform Act have been made when necessary.

As a result: Due to the action taken, there have been no further reported incidents.
