Find out what people said was important this month -

Priority 1:

Compton Green / Avon Bridge. There are ongoing issues relating to ball games in this area which attract groups of youths, and causing a nuisance to residents.

Priority 2:

Queens Drive. To deter and deal with vehicles parking inappropriately or causing obstruction near to Queens Drive Primary School and on Queens Drive. This is especially prevalent during the start and end of school.

Priority 3:

Mill Lane Park. The renovation to the Park has now begun; the local Neighbourhood team will increase patrols to prevent anti-social behaviour in the area. This continues as a priority due to the amount of machinery which is left on the site of Mill Lane Park.

Find out what we have been doing in the last month -

Priority 1: Parking - Cadley Causeway. Problem of parking on the grass verges on the St Anthony’s Church side of the railway bridge. This is especially a concern at the beginning and end of school time.
UPDATE: There have been increased patrols outside the school, at the start and end of school time. Any motorists who have parked on the grass verges have been advised not to do so and asked to park somewhere more appropriate.

Priority 2: Broadway, Greenway, Northway. To deter and deal with vehicles parking inappropriately or causing obstruction. Also to deal with vehicles contravening the ‘no right turn’ at the end of Broadway onto Blackbull Lane.
UPDATE: Work is ongoing by the Police and the Council in order to deal with this issue. Your Local Neighbourhood Policing team and the Road Policing Unit have been in the area to address motorists causing obstruction when parking. One motorist has been given a ticket for prohibiting the ‘no right turn’ sign onto Blackbull Lane.

Priority 3: Mill Lane Park. The renovation to the Park has now begun; the local Neighbourhood team will increase patrols to prevent anti-social behaviour in the area.
UPDATE: There have been regular patrols of the Mill Lane Park area due to the amount of machinery left on site whilst renovation of the park is taking place. In the past month there have been very few calls to the Police relating to anti-social behaviour on the Park.
