What do you want to happen in your area?

Your local team is all about finding local solutions to local issues and works closely with organisations to make this happen. It runs monthly meetings called Police and Communities Together (PACT) where you can talk about things that are happening in your area that you think need sorting out.

Priority 1:

HESKIN

- Juveniles causing nuisance around the Village Hall & School grounds during the evenings and weekends.

Priority 2:

FREEMANS LANE

– Anti-Social-Behaviour & motorcycle nuisance.

Priority 3:

GERMAN LANE

– A.S.B. involving Motorcycle nuisance & Drug activity.

Find out what we have been doing in the last month -

Priority 1

You said : GERMAN LANE - Anti-Social-Behaviour which includes motorcycle nuisance.

We did : Increase patrols in the area. During the course of the month five males were warned regarding their behaviour and told not to return.

As a result : Residents have more confidence in the Police and fewer incidents have been reported.

Priority 2

You said : FREEMANS LANE - A.S.B. & Motorcycle nuisance.

We did : Regular checks in the area at peak times.

As a result : Three motorbikes were seized and group of youths were taken home on the cherub bus, when parents were informed of their behaviour.

As a result : Reasurrance to the public. The KINS have been updated and are happy with results. Fewer incidents have since been reported.

Outcomes of Note : There has been a reduction in the number of reported incidents this month.

The Police have utilised Restorative Justice where appropriate.

Other issues : There is concern over the amount of juvenile nuisance/ criminal damage caused by one particular individual and his new group of associates.
