What do you want to happen in your area?

Your local team is all about finding local solutions to local issues and works closely with organisations to make this happen. It runs monthly meetings called Police and Communities Together (PACT) where you can talk about things that are happening in your area that you think need sorting out.

Priority 1:

HURST BROOK

- Anti-Social Behaviour & damages within school grounds.

Priority 2:

WILLOW DRIVE

– Anti-Social Behaviour from youths hanging around the area.

Priority 3:

WILLOW DRIVE

– Noise nuisance from youths being disruptive whilst playing and creating damage.

Find out what we have been doing in the last month -

Priority 1

You said : Speeding Vehicles on New Street.

We did : S.P.I.D. (Speed indicator devise) utilised with High Viz speed enforcement.

As a result : Several motorists warned and 2 x Fixed Penalties issued. No further complaints received.

Priority 2

You said : [HURST GREEN] Youth Nuisance - Frequent patrols with youth engagement conducted when they were warned with regard to their behaviour. Many groups moved on.

We did : Area was checked on a regular basis. Youths engaged with and problems highlighted.

As a result : Some Youth Referrals issued and fewer calls received by the Police. Residents confidence increased with regard to the Police.

OUR MAIN CONFIDENCE BOOSTING RESULTS ARE :

• High profile press release following damage at House in Mawdesley.

• Barrier erected at Hurst Green funded by LANPAC, work now completed.

• A reduction in reported incidents.

• Using Restorative Justice where appropriate
