Your local team is all about finding local solutions to local issues and works closely with organisations to make this happen. It runs monthly meetings called Police and Communities Together (PACT) where you can talk about things that are happening in your area that you think need sorting out.

– Anti-Social Behaviour within the grounds of St. Peters school.

Find out what we have been doing in the last month -

Priority 1

You said : Anti-Social Behaviour around the Millenium Green.

We did : High Viz patrols, together with a poster campaign. 10 x youths involved in recent clean-up day and in creating a kick-wall at the green.
Alcohol seizures.

As a result : Reduction in the number of complaints.

Priority 2 :

You said : Cyclists using footpath near Hurst Green sheltered Accommodation.

We did : Erect suitable posters in the area. Patrolled and engaged with cyclists.

As a result : Reduction in reports and matter raised at PACT meeting with positive comments.

CONFIDENCE BOOSTING RESULTS :

• Days out with Junior PACT members arranged.
