East Lancashire Police Officer recognised at 10 Downing Street for exemplary community service

Hyndburn and Haslingden MP Sara Britcliffe recently extended a prestigious invitation to Lancashire Police Officer PC Dave Render, recognising his outstanding contribution within the local community. PC Render was honoured at a special community safety champions reception held at Number 10 Downing Street on the 5th December.

Reflecting on this significant acknowledgement, PC Dave Render expressed his gratitude, stating: “It was a privilege to be able to visit 10 Downing Street and represent Lancashire Police and the local community of Hyndburn. During my visit I was able to meet Security Minister Tom Tugendhat and other fantastic community champions from across the nation.

“To be acknowledged at such an event is something I am very proud of and I’d like to thank the people of Hyndburn and MP Sara Britcliffe for this opportunity.”

PC Dave Render has been actively involved in fostering community safety and cohesion, and his work hasn’t gone unnoticed.

Sara Britcliffe, MP for Hyndburn and Haslingden, praised PC Render’s dedication saying: “Dave’s commitment to our community’s safety has been commendable.
