How to use this form
This form has been designed for you to report any form of Hate Crime or Hate Incident that you may have directly or indirectly experienced, witnessed or are reporting on behalf of someone else.
You can report all types of Hate Crime, including damage, assault, verbal abuse or harassment.
Sometimes you may feel that this incident is too minor to bother the police. It is, however, still important to tell us what’s happened.
Why report hate crime?
Recording Hate Crime and Hate Incidents: By completing this form you will enable the police to build up patterns of behaviour, areas of concern and provide us with a profile of Hate Crime/ Incidents within your community.
Reporting Hate Crime: Providing us with your details will enable us to investigate the incident, however, we will not do this without your permission. Your information may also contribute to the arrest and/ or prosecution of the offender.
YOU CAN BE A VICTIM OF A HATE CRIME OR INCIDENT BECAUSE OF YOUR AGE, GENDER, RACE, RELIGION, SEXUAL ORIENTATION, OR BECAUSE YOU ARE A DISABLED PERSON.
