Home Visits and One to One Sessions

One to One Sessions
The Minority Recruitment Team offers these sessions to minority ethnic candidates. The aim is to give applicants the opportunity to discuss any concerns about joining the police service and allay any fears. More specifically, applicants have the opportunity to seek advice and discuss their individual applications in accordance with Positive Action.

Home Visits
The team will also visit potential candidates who are from a minority ethnic background and who are having difficulty seeking their parents approval to join the police service. During such visits the team will speak with parents and other family members to discuss any concerns they may have about their son or daughter joining the police.
