Police and Crime Commissioner

The Police and Crime Commissioner (PCC) for Lancashire is Andrew Snowden.

PCC Andrew Snowden

The role of the PCC is to be the voice of the people of Lancashire when it comes to policing and crime prevention and to hold the Chief Constable to account for the delivery and performance of the force.

In December 2021 the PCC launched The Police and Crime Plan 2021- 2025 which sets out the Commissioner’s four-year plan detailing how he will lead the fight against crime in Lancashire.

Chief Constable Chris Rowley is fully committed to the delivery of the plan which outlines the Police and Crime Commissioner’s priorities. Lancashire Constabulary will proactively and relentlessly target and pursue all involved in criminality and seek every opportunity for the seizure of any assets gained through their criminal behaviour.
