In February 2016, three men were convicted of the trafficking, prostitution and rape of two 18 year old Romanian girls who had been brought to Preston.
They were forced to perform sexual acts on customers and were threatened with violence to them and their families if they refused to comply or tried to run away.
The men are now serving a total of 53 years in prison following their sentencing in March 2016.
The investigation was launched after a member of the public tweeted Preston Police with their concerns about the address where the girls were found.
Both victims told police how thankful they were to have been rescued and that they can now rebuild their lives for the better.
Be brave, come forward with your concerns, safe in the knowledge that Lancashire Police are here to protect you.
