UPDATE: Police investigating theft in Rishton

We are appealing for information after a large number of aluminium panels were stolen.

94 aluminium panels were taken from an address on Cut Lane in Rishton at some time between 17:00 hours on Wednesday 6th December and 08:00 hours on Thursday 7th December.

The panels (pictured) are three metres long, 2.4 metres wide and 44mm thick. Each weighs around 300kg.

The panels have since been found, but police are still trying to establish what happened and who was responsible.

PC Steven Leigh of Blackburn Police, said: “If you saw any suspicious activity in the area around the time of the theft or if you have any information that could help us with our investigation, please get in touch with us as soon as possible.”
