CCTV appeal after Ormskirk wounding

We are appealing for information about three men following a serious assault in Ormskirk.

Around 2.25am on March 4, a 27-year-old man was attacked in Moor Street, close to the clock tower.

The victim, from Liverpool, had earlier been in Alpine bar where he had a verbal altercation with three men.

The 27-year-old man left the bar and was followed by the men before being viciously attacked. The victim suffered a fractured cheek bone and fractured eye socket, later requiring surgery at hospital.

Following CCTV enquiries, police want to identify three men (pictured) in connection with the offence.

Police are urging anyone with information to come forward.

PC Pete Chesters, of Skelmersdale Police, said: “We want to identify these three men in connection with a serious assault in Ormskirk.

“Despite conducting a number of enquiries, we have yet to locate these individuals and would urge anyone with information to contact us.

“The victim has been left with serious facial injuries. I believe someone must know who these men are and can assist with our investigation.”
