DETECTIVES in Blackpool are carrying out a number of searches as they continue to look for missing man Jason Goldrick.
And we are appealing for the public’s help in checking sheds, garages and outhouses where he may have sought shelter.
A 47-year-old man from Blackpool arrested on Wednesday on suspicion of Jason’s murder has been released under investigation while enquiries continue.
Officers have been carrying out searches of a property on Park Road in the town in connection with the enquiry.
And we continue to have officers and staff in the Park Road area and around Blackpool Victoria Hospital as part of the search. We are also using the force drone and conducting CCTV enquiries to try to find Jason.
Detective Chief Inspector Derry Crorken, of West Police, said: “Our enquiries are very much continuing to try to find Jason and I would appeal for the public’s help in checking any sheds, garages or outside areas in case Mr Goldrick has sought shelter there.
“A man arrested on suspicion of murder has been released from custody but remains under investigation and I have a team of officers and staff continuing to work hard to try and find out what has happened to Jason and where he might be.”
Jason’s family have been told of the latest developments.
Jason is missing from the Park Road area of Blackpool and was last seen leaving the hospital on Friday 1st November at around 10pm.
He is described as a white, 50 years old, five ft eight ins tall, medium build with greying short hair.
He was last seen wearing a long sleeve dark blue jumper without a hood, dark blue joggers and black trainers.
