A 72-year-old man has today been banned from the road and given a curfew after causing the death of a biker. Stewart Anthony, of Binns Lane, Glusburn, Keighley was sentenced to eight months imprisonment, suspended for 12 months, after pleading guilty to causing death by careless driving.

Two men have been jailed following an incident where an imitation firearm was fired at a car in Ormerod Street, Accrington. Hughie Lock was sentenced to two years and nine months custody, while Kieron Bolton was given two years and 11 months.
