Between 27th April – 1st May 2026, a misconduct hearing was held at Ormskirk Police Station in respect of Police Constable 4314 Ravi Parekh.
The alleged breaches of the Standards of Professional Behaviour were as follows:
It was alleged by the Appropriate Authority that being a police officer with Lancashire Constabulary, Police Constable 4314 Parekh breached the Standards of Professional Behaviour set out in Schedule 2 to the Police (Conduct) Regulations 2020.
It was alleged that on 5th-6th August 2023, PC 4314 Parekh was found to be over the legal limit whilst supervising a provisional licence holder.
In light of the stated conduct, it was alleged that Police Constable 4314 Parekh had breached the Standards of Professional Behaviour in the area(s) of Honesty and Integrity and Discreditable Conduct.
The panel found that the conduct had breached the Standards of Professional Behaviour in the area(s) of Honesty and Integrity and Discreditable Conduct and amounted to gross misconduct. PC 4314 Parekh was dismissed without notice and his details have been added to the College of Policing Barred list.
