  • Our priorities
  • Priority:

    Action taken:

  • Priority:

The top priority identified by Warren ward residents through Lancashire Talking is currently:

    Dog Fouling

    Issued 01 April 2026

    Action taken:

Dog Fouling is dealt with by the local authority, in this case, that is Wyre Borough Council.

The council will only deal with dog fouling on public land.

    What will they do:

    Investigate reports of dog fouling
Issue fixed penalty notices when dog fouling is not cleared away
Patrol areas subject to frequent fouling
    Put up signs concerning fouling
Install, maintain and empty litter bins installed on public land or on the public highway
Undertake educational activities on responsible dog ownership

What you, the public need to do:

    Report dog fouling
Record details of dog walkers not picking up after their dogs, for example, time, date, location, description of the person, description of the dog, name, address, car details, registration
Be prepared to stand up against this unacceptable behaviour; we may ask you to go to court as a witness

You can also report dog fouling issues to WBC at https://orlo.uk/mmE52

    Actioned 30 June 2026

  • Priority:

Rubbish is one of the top priorities you have also raised to us through Lancashire Talking.

    Issued 01 April 2026

    Action taken:

Fly tipping is an illegal activity. If you see it happening you should call the police on 999 and report it as a crime in progress.

Alternatively, if you have just discovered it, please report it to Wyre Borough Council.

Never put yourself at risk. Record as many of the following details as possible:

Vehicle registration number and car/van details
    Description of the people involved
    The direction they were travelling
    The exact location
Date and time that you discovered the rubbish or saw the tip
    Description of the items dumped
Photos of the dumped items or the people dumping it (if possible)

    Actioned 30 June 2026

  • Priority:

Warren Ward residents have also highlighted ASB as a concern.

    Issued 01 April 2026

    Action taken:

Op Centurion is Lancashire Police’s answer to ASB, with dedicated patrols in identified areas across Wyre. Specialist antisocial behaviour (ASB) cars are regularly tasked in the Wyre area, including Warren Ward.

Identified hotspots or repeat areas are also discussed with partners at youth and adult ASB meetings.

Wyre NHPT have also made great use of civil orders of late to deal with ASB. Across the Wyre area, this has included Community Protection Warnings, Community Protection Notices, Civil Injunctions, Criminal Behaviour Orders and even Closure Orders at properties causing and linked to ASB and Crime.
Wyre has also seen a steady decline in ASB reported incidents

    Actioned 30 June 2026
