Man and woman arrested following West Lancs drugs warrant

We have arrested a man and a woman following A drugs warrant in Skelmersdale
Following information form the local community, officers from the West Lancs Neighbourhood Policing Team and Task Force executed a warrant, under Section 23 Misuse of Drugs Act, on Hawksclough this morning (Monday 23rd June 2025).
A large quantity of Class A drugs were discovered inside the address, along with mobile phones and sim cards.
A man and a woman, both aged 42 and from Skelmersdale, have been arrested on suspicion of supplying a controlled drug. Both are currently in custody waiting to be questioned.
Operation Warrior is Lancashire Police’s response to tackling serious and organised crime in Lancashire, supported by Police and Crime Commissioner Clive Grunshaw.
It aims to target the individuals and gangs involved in crime, as well as associated issues such as violence and intimidation, large scale drug supply, exploitation, and fraud, all of which can cause serious harm to local communities.
