Two charged following cannabis farm discovering in Chorley

Two men have been charged following the discovery of a substantial cannabis grow in Chorley. 

We were called to a property on Moor Road on Tuesday, 13th February 2024 following reports of suspicious circumstances.

 When officers entered the address, they discovered around 150 mature cannabis plants. There was also evidence that the electricity had been bypassed. 

Two 22 year old men from Chorley were arrested and, following consultation with the Crown Prosecution Service, George Mbliamptis, 22, of Moor Road, Chorley and Valentine Kosi, 22 of Moor Road Chorley have both been charged with production of cannabis and will appear before Magistrates this morning. 

Operation Warrior is Lancashire Police’s response to tackling serious and organised crime in Lancashire and delivering on Police and Crime Commissioner Andrew Snowden's Fighting Crime Plan priority of disrupting and dismantling organised crime. 

It aims to target the individuals and gangs involved in crime, as well as associated issues such as violence and intimidation, large scale drug supply, exploitation, and fraud, all of which can cause serious harm to local communities.
