We are launching our first YIAG to get the views of residents aged 14-21 from Lancashire.
The group will be an open and safe environment for young persons to provide honest and constructive feedback about policing policies and matters to senior officers within the police.
We want to understand the issues you as young people are facing as we work together develop and improve our policies and the policing service we offer to the public.
As a member of the YIAG, you will provide us with your views on our work.
Initially, the meetings will be held monthly at the Force Headquarters on the outskirts of Preston.
At each meeting, a new subject matter will be discussed, and you can provide your thoughts, experiences and advice to improve the policy.
You will do this working with a YIAG Team Leader. Wherever possible, our senior managers who own the policy will be present for you to feed your concerns and advice directly to the policymakers.
We are looking for people aged 14-21 years inclusive. That is it!
This opportunity is available to all persons within that age range, living or working within Lancashire. It does not matter your background, education or employment status. We all have a voice, and we want to hear yours.
To apply to join our Youth Independant Advisory Group, please fill in our online application form. Note: The form is held on a different website.
Should you have any questions or queries, please email us and we will try to get back to you within two working days.
